In a post in Instagram, Neri Miranda shared three reasons why she’s been frequently returning to Baguio. First, she launched Lime and Basil, a Thai restaurant in the city. Second was that she finished her studies on Business Administration in the University Of Baguio. And lastly, finding a rest house by a hill side which she has bought just 2 months ago. She excitingly wishes to celebrate this year’s Christmas in her new home as renovations are currently on the works.
Neri also states in her post that she has always wanted her own home. For 24 years, she has lived only in rentals. “For 24 years, nangungupahan lang kami. Walang masasabing ancestral house kahit maliit, kahit nasa probinsya.
With dedication, she used her unprivileged past as her inspiration to pursue a home under her name that her kids can also enjoy as they grow up.
